Good news always come when they serve!
We are back from a difficult harvest, characterized, as we know, by very low yields, that will bring us to face, next year, situations for us new, but, often, news like this come to motivate you as never !
Our Vitalba, Albana DOCG Secco, fermented in amphora, has been featured by the prestigious American Wine Enthusiast magazine as one of the 100 world’s best 2017 wines, with a fatntastic 25th position, fifth among Italian wines.
It was known that this wine had reached a very high score (94/100), but we would never have hoped to enter the super elite of world wines!
This the WE review to the wine:
Fermented in clay amphora, this fascinating orange wine opens with alluring aromas of dried yellow stone fruit, baking spice, aromatic herb, pressed yellow flower and a balsamic note. Boasting more fruit and flavor than many other wines in this genre, the savory enveloping palate presents apricot, yellow peach, candied nectarine zest, crystallized ginger and a hint of flinty mineral. Tangy acidity provides balance and lift while a honeyed note closes the lingering finish. Simply gorgeous.
