“Albana dei” 2016: double silver for the Albane Tre Monti

Albana Dei is the first competition reserved for wines produced with Albana grapes, dry version.

The competition, born four years ago from an idea of the curators Carlo Catani and Andrea Spada and organized by Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna under the patronage of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna, takes place in two stages: the first, reserved for the technical jury – composed of critics of the main guides in the sector, technicians and food and wine experts, professional sommeliers, wine salesmen – who blindly tasted all the wines in competition and who selected the finalists, who then had to face popular judgment during 5 events that They took place during the month of May in some of the most evocative villages and places of Romagna.

Our two “dry” Albane in competition, Vigna Rocca 2015 and Vitalba 2015, both won second place, respectively in the “Albana del cuore” and “Albana della tradition” category, one step away (only one point! ) from the summit. Thanks to all those who participated giving their opinion!
