Our 2023 Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore Riserva Petrignone has been included in the Top 300 of *Vinibuoni d’Italia* – 2027 Edition.

This is a special award presented during the National Finals of the guide to the top 300 wines among those that have earned the Crown.

This is a major achievement for one of our Reserve wines, which is produced in the hills of Forlì, on our Petrignone estate—from which it takes its name. It is a place to which we feel a deep connection, and where the Sangiovese grape finds an intense, elegant, and quintessentially Romagnan expression.

Petrignone, of course, took the news with his usual composure: he didn’t issue any statements, didn’t ask for a new label, and continues to rest in the cellar as if nothing had happened. We, on the other hand, treated ourselves to a little toast.

Being selected among the 300 wines awarded the Corona is, for us, a testament to the work we’ve done in the vineyard and in the winery, but above all, an invitation to continue in the same direction: respect for the land, identity, and a constant pursuit of quality.

The best way to get to know Petrignone 2023? The simplest one: open a bottle and let it speak for itself.
