  • Appellation: Colli d’Imola DOC Rosso
  • Grape variety: 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Altitude: 150 m a.s.l.
  • Soil profile:Silty, medium textured
  • Traning system:GDC (Geneva Double Curtain)
  • Vineyard density 4.500 plants per hectare
  • Year of plantation: 1992 (Cabernet s.) – 1996 (Merlot)
  • Yield per vine1.2 kg
  • Harvest period: Late august (Merlot) – late september (Cabernet)
  • Vinification: 14 days maceration at 28°-30°, followed by malolaptic fermentation
  • Maturation:6 months in second passage, medium toasted Allier barriques. Bottled without any filtrtaion
  • Malolactic fermentation : Yes
  • Average annual production: 7.000 bottles
  • Color: Ruby red color
  • Bouquet:Fruity, red, ripe, combined with sweet spicy cinnamon
  • Taste: Great personality, elegance and balsamic notes of mint and bitter cocoa
  • Food suggestion: Meat, seasoned cheeses and mushrooms
