On the eve of the 2019 harvest we were on the point of grubbing up the last hectare of our beautiful vineyard of Trebbiano “della fiamma” in Petrignone: the commercial feedback and the “mood” of the market were too lukewarm (understatement) towards this grape
But, “rather” (Piuttosto in italian) than eradicate it, we wanted to make an extreme attempt, and put to good use the experiences of maceration purchased with the Vitalba and do something new: 25 days of maceration in cement, a bit of good luck, and, voilà…
